
Nugs. What else can I say? Every now and then I get a craving for some nugs, french fries and chocolate milkshake. Oh, and I only dip in BBQ sauce.
Here are some facts:
- McDonald's restaurants are found in 119 countries and territories around the world and serve nearly 47 million customers each day.
- McDonald's operates over 31,000 restaurants worldwide, employing more than 1.5 million people.
- The company also operates other restaurant brands, such as Piles Café, and has a minority stake in Pret a Manger.
- The company owned a majority stake in Chipotle Mexican Grill until completing its divestment in October 2006.
- Until December 2003, it also owned Donatos Pizza. On August 27, 2007, McDonald's sold Boston Market to Sun Capital Partners.
- McDonald's has sold well over 100 billion hamburgers.
- Antarctica is the only continent that does not have a McDonald's restaurant - yet.
- McDonald's restaurants in India are our only restaurants in the world where you cannot buy beef. You can purchase an all-lamb version of the Big Mac called the "Maharaja Mac™."
Did you know I have been to the most expensive McDonalds in the world, the one in Rome. I dutifully ordered a caramel sundae, yum-o! This was before you had to put the sauce and nuts on yourself, they are getting lazy I tell you, lazy.
ReplyDeleteIt has been well over ten years since I had a McDonalds shake. I plan on keeping it that way. Those shakes are NASTY!!! But I do like me a Hot Fudge Sundae!
